Danielle Runyan serves as senior counsel for First Liberty Institute in the Military Affairs Practice Group and is an officer in the Air Force Reserve. Considered a subject matter expert on religious liberty issues affecting military members, Mrs. Runyan testified before Congress in 2023, writes opinion articles featured by various major media outlets, and frequently appears on television, radio, and podcasts. Mrs. Runyan is part of a team that presently represents over 4,000 Navy service members in the first-ever class action lawsuit filed against the United States Navy and the Department of Defense over the DoD’s COVID-19 vaccine mandate. Mrs. Runyan is also a co-founder of Airline Employees 4 Health Freedom, an organization comprised of thousands of airline employees, including those fighting against United Airlines’ discriminatory and retaliatory COVID-19 vaccine mandate in a major class-action lawsuit defending their rights to religious and medical freedom.
