Sophy Medina is a NYC firefighter of 15 years and a Marine Corps veteran. She is also a mother of two children, and spouse to a NYC firefighter. Sophy is a co-founder of the pro medical freedom group Bravest for Choice, which is a non profit organization made up of NYC firefighters, and EMS personnel who have actively worked to end the medical mandates in NYC through lawsuits and political engagement. In her spare time, Sophy likes to connect with fellow freedom fighters. She is a health and exercise enthusiast and also homeschools her children along with her partner in Brooklyn, NY. Her favorite mottos include: "90 percent of anything is showing up," and "never tell yourself 'no' when trying to achieve something...the world does enough of that.”
